Ingrid Keller
PIANIST
Ingrid Keller is the Founding Artistic Director of The Belvedere Series, and a dynamic presence in the classical music world, with a multifaceted career as a recitalist, collaborative pianist, and educator. Her performances have been described as "having graceful power... a revelation in musical excellence" (Oakwood Register) and as an "unforgettable experience" (Berkshire Gazette). She has graced the stages of some of the country’s most prestigious venues, including the Kennedy Center, Boston's Symphony Hall and Jordan Hall, the Banff Centre, and Tanglewood, with international performances as well. Ingrid’s recent collaborations include performances with the Mark Morris Dance Group, members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Richmond Symphony, and such esteemed musicians as Yo-Yo Ma, Dawn Upshaw, Leonidas Kavakos, and Joe Burgstaller.
An accomplished chamber musician, Ingrid excels in both instrumental chamber music and vocal/operatic repertoire, having previously served on the staff of the Indianapolis Opera and Oberlin in Italy. She is committed to artistic innovation, as demonstrated by her solo rendition of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, which was part of a groundbreaking interdisciplinary collaboration with music, dance, and fashion for the University of Dayton's ArtsAlive program.
Ingrid has served on the faculty of numerous prestigious institutions, including the College of William and Mary, University of Dayton, University of Oregon, and the University of Richmond. From 2019 to 2022, she was the staff pianist for the Richmond Symphony. Her album Evening Hours: Songs of Richard Hundley, in collaboration with tenor Jason Vest, was released by Roven Records in 2018.
Ingrid holds a Doctor of Music degree from Indiana University where she studied under the tutelage of world-renowned pianist Menahem Pressler.
